The terms for using yoink.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use yoink at yoink.now and app.yoink.now. yoink is provided by Emil Pärlesköld and Noa Carle, Stockholm, Sweden ("we"). Contact: hello@yoink.now.
By using yoink you accept these terms. If you create an account, you accept them when you sign in.
2. The service
yoink creates recipes from content you provide. It is free to use, and an account is optional.
3. Recipes are written by AI: check before you cook
Recipes are generated by AI and can be incomplete or wrong, including amounts, times, temperatures, ingredients and nutrition values.
- Always read the recipe through before you cook.
- Check ingredients yourself if you have allergies, intolerances or other dietary needs. yoink does not detect allergens.
- Nutrition values are estimates, not medical or dietary advice.
- Follow normal food safety.
4. Your account
You need to be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
You can delete your account at any time.
5. Other people's content
Recipes and posts belong to their creators. Use yoink for your own cooking, not to republish other people's recipes as your own or for commercial purposes.
Only submit content you have the right to use.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use scripts, bots or other automated tools against yoink, or try to get around limits
- overload, attack or try to gain access to yoink or other users' data
- use yoink for anything illegal
We may limit how much yoink can be used.
7. Changes and availability
yoink is provided as it is. We can't promise it is always available or free of errors, and features may change or be removed.
We will never charge you unless you actively choose a paid plan, which will come with its own terms.
If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell you before the change takes effect.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using yoink at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where reasonable we tell you first.
9. Liability
yoink is free of charge. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, or for damage caused by relying on a recipe without checking it.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer law, or our liability for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy at yoink.now/privacy.
11. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. If you are unhappy, contact us first at hello@yoink.now.
As a consumer you can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN, arn.se), or to a Swedish general court.
