Privacy policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

What personal data yoink (yoink.now and app.yoink.now) processes, why, where, and what your rights are.

1. Who is responsible

yoink is run by Emil Pärlesköld and Noa Carle, Stockholm, Sweden. They are joint controllers for the personal data described here: they share the responsibility for protecting it, and you can exercise your rights with either of them.

Questions about privacy, or requests about your data: privacy@yoink.now.

2. What we process

An account is optional. Without one, your data stays in your browser and we don't receive it.

3. Why, and the legal basis

Providing account data is needed to have an account, but you can use yoink without one. We make no automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Who receives the data

These providers process data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement:

When you sign in with Google, Google processes your sign-in as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Data is transferred to the United States when a provider above processes it there. The transfers are protected as follows:

6. How long we keep data

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a machine-readable format, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can download your data and delete your account in the app, or write to privacy@yoink.now.

You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.

8. Cookies and storage on your device

yoink uses no tracking or advertising cookies.
